A new perspective on kundalini problems: invitation to publishers

Our book Spiritualiteit en energie: de kundalini-kwestie was first published in 2009. The second printing was released in 2010, the third in 2016.This means that in the Netherlands a few thousand people have been able to read what they can do about their psychosomatic energy problems in general, and about their kundalini problems in particular. The most common reaction we received from readers is a remark like: 'If I had known all this a few years ago, I would have been spared a lot of grief.' Therefore, we are convinced that many more people would benefit by reading this book, if only it were published in English, for example, and preferably in other languages as well. Psycho-energetic problems, like enhanced kundalini activity in our physical and energy bodies, know no boundaries. But, as we state in our book, there are also universal ways to solve these problems, the most important of which is the right way to breathe - inhaling from the qi-point (chi-point) - which unifi

Introduction: Kundalini and kundalini problems

Introduction There are moments when you suddenly come into contact with a force that is greater than yourself, yet it comes from within. The world around you is the same, still all seems different. Perhaps it was triggered by a situation on the outside – for instance the first kiss you share with a lover, an unexpected panoramic view whilst hiking in the mountains, or a deep silence between musical notes in a piece of music. The lover was already there, the mountains have been there for centuries and silence is just silence. Still – you feel energy a radiation or force that did not seem to be there before. It can make you very happy, but it can also leave you feeling a little unsettled. It can pass in a flash, but a part of it can stay with you.    Sometimes we experience such a change in our perception without any apparent reason. For instance, when we ‘accidentally’ deeply relax or sink into a meditative state, possibly without sitting down especially to d

The central role of breathing

Chapter 14 The central role of breathing The ancient Chinese, and probably even more old wise people, have said that the number of times you breathe in and out during a lifetime is already predetermined before you are born. When they felt the end of this life coming close, they switched to a very slow pace of breathing – in order to have as much time as possible to prepare for this great transition. In principle, those who live a peaceful, quiet life and exhale fully, live longer.     If a few breaths more or less will make a difference, we do not know. However, it is obvious that the way we breathe is of big influence to our lives, just as the way in which our lives unfold is a reflection of how we deal with our energy. If the circulation of energy from the pelvic source is not harmonious, it tells you something about the way you behave, including your way of breathing. It is of crucial importance to realize this, for breathing plays such a central role that you cannot res

Centering and grounding

Chapter 15 Centering and grounding In previous chapters, we spoke about the chakras and energy channels, which in principle form a ‘holistic’, balance-seeking, and self-regulating system. Actually everything in our energy-system is aimed at connection Kundalini- and cosmic energy, in order to to let this energy circulate through the space of the physical body and also around it, through the other layers of energy and consciousness. If this whole process is characterized by harmony instead of dividedness, we form a whole of body, soul and Spirit; that personal wholeness can then become one with the great Totality of all that is.    For this purpose, the first thing necessary is that our bundled energy shines through our individual entirety; subsequently, our chakras should come into joint vibration. Therefore, the emphasis of consciousness and energy should not be in just one of the chakra’s; this would lead, as we already mentioned, to all sorts of one-sidedness and disharm
